easy book reading

In A Raisin in the Sun, Lorraine Hansberry lays great stress on the Youngers’ apartment, what it means to them and how it affects their quality of life and their relationships. This is a good time to think about physical space and how it affects us. How doe the apartment they live in heighten the tensions between Ruth and Walter Lee, or affect Travis’ life? How does your living space or work space affect you or your work? Is there a space you love being in? Do you feel more creative there? What is it like to learn online as opposed to learning in a classroom?

Write an essay about physical space and its psychological effects. You can focus on a specific place or touch on several different kinds of spaces. Describe the space. How does it make you feel? Does it add to or detract from the quality of your work or life?

Alternatively, you can delve into the notion of psychological space. How is it different from physical space? Are the two connected? What do you think of as psychological space? How important is it? How do you achieve or find it?

Approx. 500 words minimum, 12 pt. type, double-spaced.
