You will need to use key devices to analysis one piece of text ( article, book, poem, image, speech, film, op-ed, etc.)

In the analysis, you must use at least two key devices discussed in class and in chapter 6 of Everything’s an Argument – rhetorical argument. You can chose to analysis purpose, the “who”, appeal to audience, pathos, ethos, logos, Kairos, fallacies (can be related to ethos, pathos, and logos), arrangement or organization, media, or style.
