Week #09 Discussion Topic

• You have to read and understand the Online Lecture and Johnson – Chapter 9: Luke-Acts. Then response to the Week Discussion by writing a response to the questions giving below.
• Also, you need to answer completely the attached file named “Week #09 ACTIVITY – The Acts of the Apostles-1” but you have up to 48 hours to completely answer all questions, with in-text citation for the answer of each question.

Here is this Week’s Discussion Topic:

The ministry of “The Way” extended the preaching of the gospel message (or the Kerygma) “to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1: 8). As we have learned this week, sometimes this message was received well and sometimes it was not.

Being specific and citing references exclusively from Johnson and/or the Acts of the Apostles, provide examples as to how the message was received well and how it was not in the first century. Citing contemporary examples, explain how well this same Kerygma is preached today and the struggles that exist with preaching the gospel message today.
