Strategic planning helps in facilitating communication, participation, clear judgment, accommodation of diverse interests & values, fosters wide & shared decision making by involving staff in the process, promotes successful implementation & accountability, and enhances organizational learning (Bryson, 2018). It improves organizational ability to adapt to the changes and encourages realistic goal setting based on the strengths and limitations of the organization. Effective planning helps the team to be prepared for the challenges and perform their role on the basis of goal. This increases creativity and fosters productivity. As a result, staff satisfaction is achieved.
