Servant leadership would be the best approach to take if I were a leader with vision. It is because servant leadership encourages teamwork where the leader seeks to involve others in decision making, is strongly based in ethical & caring behaviors, and is attempting to enhance the personal growth of followers while improving the quality of institution (Spears, & Lawrence, 2016). The leader is primarily to serve people who are affected by the institution. This leadership approach fosters creativity that can ultimately bring betterment in overall productivity. The leader inspires followers by being the role model, listening empathetically; creating healing environment as needed, has conceptualization & foresight, and committed to the growth of people along with organization (Spears, & Lawrence, 2016). In nursing, teamwork is the most for achieving even a minor, as patient care is impossible without a multidisciplinary team approach.
